ICC Europe Books and Manuals
The European Development Programme produces and distributes a range of resources to assist Associate, Affiliate and Prospective member countries in their aim of developing cricket. Several resources have been translated into a number of different languages and the Europe Office will continue to work closely with the ICC, the England and Wales Cricket Board and all its member countries to develop other suitable resources. If you are interested in obtaining any of the resources, please contact your national governing body through the European Cricketing Nations section of this site.
Howzat Insight is a short description of the Howzat! Resource it includes Introduction to the Player Development Model, Description of the Early, Basic and Enhanced Playing Environments, Coaches Role within the three Player Environments:
A practical coaching and teaching guide for teachers, coaches and parents.
A simple introduction to some of the rules and phrases of the game, available to download in English, French and Spanish.
Coaching resource which was designed by the ECB for use with junior cricketers.The EDP with assistance from a number of its member countries has had the manual translated into different languages.

The ECB launched HOWZAT! in partnership with Channel 4 in November 2000 to promote cricket to children in schools. HOWZAT! enables teachers to deliver cricket to children ensuring enhancement of teaching and learning through PE.
